In remembrance Long-time area climber and CAMM historian David Craigmile passed away on Monday, Sept. 10, at his home after a long battle with cancer. A memorial service was held Friday, Sept. 14, at the Unity Center in Columbia. Survivors include his companion, Brenda Kafton, a son, Samuel, and a daughter, Riley, all of Columbia. He also is survived by his father, James Craigmile, and three brothers, Paul, Steve and Joe. Memorials to benefit his children may be made to the David Craigmile Memorial Fund, 3702 Bedford Dr., Columbia, Mo., 65203. Contributions also are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 33 E. Broadway, Columbia, Mo., 65203.
